This is something that I've been taught from a young age by my mum - that Jannah is a barren land, but by reciting simple words, we plant trees and create a beautiful place for our future selves - insha Allah.

I like to apply this to this world too - as they say, the grass is greener when you water it. Put in the effort and you'll see the rewards. Hard work and perseverance, as well as so many other traits such as humility and integrity, are all contributing factors to success. Additionally, planting a garden is believing in the future, having hope for sunnier and better days to come.
